Evan Buschman is a media professional with specializations in film, music, video, and photography located in Chicago, IL. Obtaining a B.A. in Media Management from the Media School at Indiana University in 2026, Evan understands how to create positive, efficient, and impactful work environments for media professionals and consumers by being supportive, passionate, and organized.
In 2024, Evan produced the BFA short film Deadringer directed by Myla Tissandier. Evan organized and brought a crew together, provided on-set assistance and support, and built a fundraiser to raise $1,000 for the project. This project achieved a 3rd place Telly award for student short film, an award at Indiana Youth Film Festival, 7 awards at the IU Montage film festival, and more.
Since 2021, Evan has been creating media projects, like The Town of Metamora (documentary) and A Hymn - IDLES (music video) in high school. He wrote, directed, and edited these projects. Both of these projects won regional awards at the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Additionally, Evan is a freelance music and live event photographer, having 3 years of BTS (Behind the Scenes), Concert, and Event experience. By utilizing his intense passion for music and art, he pushes to put artists on the main stage, and present them in the rawest form, doing what they love.
